Permits

As a participant, you should check for yourself whether you need a permit for the location where you want to exhibit. Do you need a permit? Report this to the DDW organisation before 1 June. You must also start the permit application process before 1 June, following the guidelines below.

Existing location

Are you organising an activity at an existing location and does your event fall under the regular use of that location? Then there is no licensing requirement. If in doubt, contact Eindhoven247, the front office of the municipality's events cluster. They can help you develop your concept, advise you on subsidy options and help you with the permit application. Eindhoven247 can be reached via info@eindhoven247.nl or telephone number +31 (0)40 707 40 40.

Event

Do you want to organise an event on Stadhuisplein, Lichtplein, Markt or Ketelhuisplein? Indicate this when you register and we will contact you. You do not need to apply for a permit yourself. These locations are covered by the DDW permit. However, there are costs associated with this application. You will receive a cost estimate from us in advance.

Other activities

Are you using another outdoor location, an vacant building or organising a party? If so, you may face a permit requirement. Please contact Eindhoven247.

Event Policy

See also the Event Policy of the Municipality of Eindhoven. It contains the guidelines for events. You will find answers to questions such as: who is responsible for what, what is the procedure and what are the conditions and regulations?

Application forms

Small events of up to 250 people do not require a permit. You do have to register it, however. This event registration and the event permit application form can be found at www.eindhoven.nl.
