The DAKBAR is situated in the lift room as well as on the rooftop on Hotel Piet Hein Eek. The lift room used to house a lift engine that was as big as a Fiat 500, which has been removed to make place for the new lift in the middle of this room. We have placed a big corner window that provides an impressive panoramic view of Eindhoven. Not only drinks are served in the DAKBAR, but we have also incorporated a mini kitchen into the tiny bar from where we serve bites, devised by the chef and based on conserved and other long-life ingredients.
