Don't Play with Your Food

Reimagining everyday rituals. Beyond mere sustenance. Feeding all senses.

The dining table is then a playground for communal celebration, reparation and intervention. Through whimsical reimaginations of food and dining, Food Hood hopes to whet people’s appetites for reintroducing playfulness and kinship into their daily routines.

Play with Your Food!

There are few mediums as accessible and powerful as food. It is not only essential to our survival, but it is intrinsic to our identities and cultures. While cuisines and diet may differ from person to person, the daily act of nourishment and cherishing food is universal. The shared act of eating is then a recipe of communication and empathy that transcends differing backgrounds.

About Food Hood

Food Hood is a design collective reimagining everyday life through food, aiming to bring people together. They offer a multi-sensory experience with food sculptures, playful crockery, and interactive installations that explore new ways of connecting with food and dining. They believe that by gathering around the table, we can rediscover a sense of belonging, gratitude, and joy in life’s simple pleasures.
