Levend Goud

A duo exhibition between Do Collection and Simone van den Broek.

Do Collection designs the Autumn collection. Celebrating how dying nature makes way for new life. Instead of withering colorlessly, nature does this with lots of color and the sudden appearance of fungi. Simone taps right into that with an experimental jewelry collection based on mycellium.

Living Gold

Do Collection (by Rolisa Sweegers) designs and produces the Autumn collection. Dying nature makes way for new life. Instead of withering colorlessly, nature does this in a particularly theatrical way, with lots of color and the sudden appearance of fungi. This collection is made entirely in 14 kt gold and decorated with high-quality gemstones.

This collection is complemented by Simone van den Broek (Journey_exploratory_studio) with her jewelry in which she has experimented with mycelium. A non traditional material in jewelry. A trace network that draws traditional goldsmith work even closer to nature. Mycelium is an excellent material for product design due to its versatility, sustainability, and unique properties. It is renewable, biobased and can be moulded into various shapes. By implementing mycelium material in goldsmithing each piece becomes a testament to the beauty and elegance found within our symbiotic relationship with the environment. By incorporating mycelium into goldsmithing, we infuse jewellery with a deeper connection to nature.
Both collections celebrate the wonders of nature with every gleaming creation.

About Do Collection

Rolisa Sweegers (Do Collection) designs according to her own unique way of thinking and working, whereby the jewelry is designed conceptually. She often works from a basic form, which is abstracted. This creates an apparently simple, but very powerful basis. By approaching and applying this form in a different way, a story ultimately unfolds, told through an entire line of jewelry.
You can also attend a goldsmithing workshop in the studio yourself.
