"Play" is an interactive installation inspired by postmodern dance. It explores how body language and everyday movements can be choreographed in specific contexts. Can you deviate from your movement patterns, or are you unconsciously performing a pre-designed choreography?

About "Play"

The interactive experience unfolds in three stages.
First, visitors see their role as observers mirrored in printed movements on transparent fabric, raising awareness of how their bodies interact with the space.

Next, they can engage directly with the installation by moving a heatlamp across the surface, revealing words and images through thermochromic ink. As the heat activates the ink, visitors become part of the artwork and their movements are documented within the ink.

Finally, an audio fragment will reveal the artist's "choreography".
This work challenges the ingrained routines of everyday life, urging participants to reflect on how much control they truly have over their movement and behaviour, and to consider the impact of external influences on their actions.
